Yay and Boo

Its April, Baseball is here, which is a great thing. My beloved teal wearing D Backs are an interesting looking team this year. Not to sound to cliche but they definitely could make some noise if the right people start getting hot at the right time.
An amazing thing has happened this year, my step brother purchased season tickets, right field 7 rows up, great seats. Being the business man that he is he works late at times and travels often. So I have found myself as the stand by beneficiary of said tickets when he's not around. Wonderful. Went to the home opener and got my first foul ball Now our current record with me in attendance is 0-2 both games being close, with possible come from behind victories thwarted. So at least its been exciting. These wonderful seats have already blessed me with my first ever foul ball off of the bat of Todd Helton of the Rockies. There was no glamour to it, no leaping catch made by me, in fact no catch was made at all. It bounced of a couple of people next to me and then just rolled under my seat, but after 25 years (give or take, can't really remember when and where first game was) it was well worth it and filled me with a level of excitement and joy that made me long for the days when Casimir Nozkowski would sling rhymes while I wore silly shorts and hats. HA
So yeah, fuckin a right baseball is here. So yay!
Now boo to it already being 96 degrees outside. Horseshit, I hate this god damn desert sometimes.
Only 13 more shopping days till my birthday ladies and gents, you've been warned
